    Please review ZipTimeTracker.com

I actually thought your tour page was pretty decent. I can't think of anything that needs improvement.

Please review my site and offer suggestions

I have a suggestion. Make your catch phrase actual text and not a word. Please improve the layout of your content of your home, what is a rat rod, and bio page. The content is too close to the edges. You should definitely consider giving it some padding.

    Rate my site

This a great looking well designed site. Personally I would actually make the services tab a drop down button so visitors have the option of choosing what services they want to know more about.

    Printers Website Redesign

Great Job Warren. Overall the site looks great. I only have one complaint. You can probably get rid of all the information at the bottom of the homepage and create pages for information regarding the company and information regarding the different types of banners your company provides.

    Logo and roll-over buttons review

I actually like the design type when it was in the middle of the design. By the way don't get too attached to a type of font. When you do webdesign all of your text would HTML so all you would be exporting would be the image. Its just a better SEO strategy, remember search engines can't see images.

Keeping a scrolling picture javascript active through navigation

I would suggest looking at a website that has an example of the slider you are trying to accomplish. Analyze the code and go from there. That is what I usually do if I ever get stumped on a problem. That or I will look up the tutorial.

    Mobile Time Clock website

Over the design of the site is good. There is a scroll bar at the bottom of browser that you should get rid of, there is something in the code that is causing this. I do not care that there is an orange tab that shows what page I am currently on. By the way you should consider having footer...

    Newbie needs help!

Actually I must say that PSD to HTML is not that bad of a habit, if you know the basics of HTML and PSD. I don't know about you Phreaddee but I started out as a graphic designer and slowly transitioned into a web designer. Anyways I would the PSD file as a drawing reference, and from there I...

    Books/references web design beginners

I would suggest getting HTML & CSS: Design and Build Web Sites by Jon Duckett. Its a well designed book written for individuals that do not like the dry approach programming books take.

    Comments and Critique

By the way my hosting provider is Blue Host and I have been pretty happy with them. They gave me a price of $130 to host my sites for three years, and I also get to create unlimited domain names. I do have to pay the yearly $10 to keep the domain name but I am still very happy with the service.

It is a pretty good start there iciezzle. The code looks pretty clean. Usually for my container rule I only make the left and right margin auto while leaving the top and down blank. Also what is with the grey gap between the header and the content? Are you planning to place something in there?

website for freelance agricultural farm & project manager

I actually really like the feel and looks of the website. The only problem I had was that it took a little longer than I wanted for the website to load. Also make sure to use alt tags for all your images, it is good practice for SEO.

Beginner: Some questions for designing my site

Well if you wanted to edit the website once a week I would suggest you know your way around the CMS Dashboard. A CMS is easy to handle and it is easy to make posts and add new pages. If you really wanted to go above and beyond and create your own custom themes I suggest you learn HTML, CSS, and...

    Dreamweaver Layers

Its ok , I take you are new to web design. What I usually do in order to center the website I will create a Wrapper div. Then I give it a rule of automatic left and right margins. The website will center itself no matter what. Keep learning, and you will go far.

    Review My Food Site

Personally I liked the orange color, I would just use the solid orange background instead of the grain texture. I also agree with the drop shadow of the logo and the optimization of the pictures. I would also write a little bit of what is the intention of the site is. When I first arrived I was...

    Resources for Learning Web Design

I love webpages that suck. It is super entertaining and really informative. By the way I always like going to http://css-tricks.com/. Chris Coyer is an awesome designer and he posts really useful articles and video tutorials. Lynda is also a great source, if you have the funds to pay for it.

    TUTORIAL: CSS Positioning

I may have missed this but in order to make an absolute element work, you would have make sue that the div that holds it is set to relative. Otherwise you will get a jumbled mess. By the way can anyone think of an example of where I would want to use an element with fixed positioning? I am new...
