    hyperlinking images

There is a solution without using dated image maps. Set the image as the background of a div. Then create divs positioned where you want the links. Use a 1px transparent Gif stretched across the positioned divs and hyperlinked. If people are interested,I can make an example later today.

    Pre-Review(?) of my upcoming website

Thanks, I'll look into that article. I struggled for a while with the content, that's why it took so long to go live.

    Need Honest Input

Much better. Still need a better consistency with those photos. Maybe crop them to the same size and line them up side by side at the bottom.

What is the best tool in Photoshop for doing clipping path?

The quick selection tool in the recent versions is quite nice.

Need a feedback about my website

I have done extensive work for several artists/photographers. Dark backgrounds cause other colors in images to stand out, "pop" more than they would against a lighter background. Not to mention, colored backgrounds tend to bring out colors you may not have wanted to bring out. This is a...

How to make a login page?

Just about any CMS will do that. My faves are Joomla and Wordpress, though I've used FrogCMS, Silverstripe, Mambo (Joomla's Mom) and I've dabbled with Drupal. All of these have a login function built right in. Joomla, Mambo and Wordpress are probably the easiest to build templates for.

What do you think about my website?

As far as flash intros/navigation go, yours isn't bad looking, but the sound is a bit off-putting. Not to mention, there's no way for browsers without flash to navigate your site. I have a fairly high-resolution monitor, and I couldn't see any of the content below the flash nav, which means...

    My new Site http://www.ianmckie.com

Nice design, simple and clean. The blue is maybe just a little bright, but other than that, it's great.

    New website online: www.ink9.ro

Great design! Good layout, pixel perfect graphics, and not a table in sight. It may be just a bit too busy, but that might just be my personal design taste. Good work!

Great new site for playing with CSS

Here's a site I read about on css-tricks.com You can basically enter any site and then add your own custom CSS to it. A lot of fun, if only as a time waster.

    PSD To Dreamweaver

Use the slice tool in Photoshop to slice the images, then save for web. In the save dialog, you can choose your settings. It will kick out all the code if you want, though I don't recommend it. MUCH better than your other design, btw. :)

You could probably do this with Joomla out of the box.

    Need Honest Input

It's an odd coincidence this was posted here. One of my current clients is a magician/illusionist in Grand Rapids, MI (PJ Weber). With that out of the way, the kids in the video laughing their asses off make me think of my kids laughing their asses of...at you. So, ditto on moving the video...

    Rough design

All I'm getting is a a green box floating in nothingness. Best advice I can give you? Put Dw away and code with Notepad++ or Aptana, or hell even Wordpad for a while.
