    Corporate-looking website concept

Another thought: what if you extended the sidebar to the bottom of the page?

    Corporate-looking website concept

It's a really good design. It does feel a bit top heavy, like you said, but it isn't distracting. A heavier type for the headers on the bottom might balance it. Only other thing I saw was you misspelled "Personnel". Great design!!

Please review my site... First one!

Definitely a step in the right direction. The layout is nice and clean. A couple of notes: I don't see what the trees have to do with dermatology. Unless there's something I'm missing, I think a dermatology site might be better served by images of happy people with great skin, or something...

Save yourself the pain and skip flash. Especially for navigation. To answer your question, a copy of flash and graphical prowess.

    New Client Web Site

Damn nice for the price. The type looks good to me, but then I'm shite with that anyway.

    collage style image gallery

The easiest way I can think of is to create the collage in Photoshop and use the slice tool to slice them, then have photoshop export the CSS. Coding that by hand would take forever.

CSS issue with IE8 marign auto not working

    Another option: #page{ position:relative; width: 1025px; left:50% margin-left:-513px; min-height:500px; padding:0px; }

    Showing Clients their Site

I usually have them pay half up front. From there, I just trust them not to take it. Definitely gonna start doing this.

What are options for a paid newsletter site?

Probably easiest to go with option 1. I know Joomla can do it. Wordpress should be able to, though I don't know for sure.

    Text below image

First, you'll need to set that text inside some element, like <p>. Then, give that <p> a class, and in that class, set clear:right; That should take care of it.

    Need Honest Input

If Sitebuilder allows you to set a background as repeating, just make sure the area where the image is set to the background isn't taller than 135px.

Honest opinion of this web design and online store

As I was navigating the site, I noticed the following: It's a bit of a pain to navigate. Both in Grid and List layout, the blocks are big. I have a fairly high resolution monitor, and I can only fit a couple products on screen at once. Table layout is closest to what would work for me, but...

Which program/s do you work in and why?

I have essentially 2 tools I use: Photoshop and Aptana. I have used Illustrator on occasion for tracing. I generally lay the whole page out in Photoshop, and slice the individual elements out that I will need images for. That gives me an idea of how things should be spaced. I spent hours one...

    Playing with CSS

I took a few days off work to relax a little, and decided to play around with some CSS effects. So, I created a slider menu. Check it out here. It doesn't work in the slightest in IE...go figure. The links are all over the place. In Chrome, it works...OK. I'm still working on it. The links...

    Need Honest Input

Here, set this image as the background for that header. Set it to repeat on the X axis (repeat-x). Same colors, but it's smoother.
