What is your favorite text editor?

Notepad++ is great. I use it as my default editor for just about all text-based files. For heavier coding, I use MS WebMatrix, mostly for its built-in webserver.

What type of template is avaiable?

That and image maps seem to be a common thread these days.

    New Client Site - Magician

Thanks for the input. I have made a few changes. I saw what you mean about the body copy font. I changed it to bold, and it seems to work better. Working the favicon (funny, I always forget that, and you always harp on it :D ). Moved the Contact to the end because I honestly didn't think about...

    feedback on my redesign site

Looks great. Like PsxMeUp said, it needs more interactivity. Nothing too major, just something to let me know I'm hovering over something I can interact with.

    New Client Site - Magician

http://www.pjweber.us Have a go at it. 2 things I know already: - The header needs...something - There's a blank area in the footer - Waiting on the client for that The client wanted me to launch anyway even with those 2 issues. Also, waiting on a new photo from the client.

expandeble menu with css and hover effect.

You'll have to use an image for that. That, or HTML entity #9660. Either way, set the li to position:relative, then wrap the image or character in a span that is position:absolute, and set the left offset to where you want it horizontally, and the bottom offset to whatever negative value you...

    CSS3 Border Radius Circle Hover

PixelPusher is right. You have to keep in mind that even though you have visually created a circle, it is still a square.

    Website Review

Honestly, it looks like a late 1990s cheap default template or an old Homestead site. I say this, because when I learned HTML 4 in high school around that time, this is the kind of thing I turned out.

    margin:auto; isn't working usually

You haven't set a width. Auto margins don't work without width declarations, and max-width doesn't count.

How do I configure KompoZer to directly edit my web pages?

You don't. You edit locally, then upload. That's why it's best to run a local server until everything is done, then upload the finished product.

"No-repeat" makes my image disappear. :(

You're going to have to find a free server to post it on so we can help you troubleshoot. I've seen some people just post everything on Dropbox and it seems to work.

What is Linux's version of Dream Weaver?

Most of the Adobe CS2 will run on Ubuntu under Wine. Either way, what Lou said. Bring it up in a browser and code it by hand.

    My latest site

You should talk to Tabitha Hale. She's the Director of New Media for Freedomworks. I'd be willing to bet she'd not only have some pointers to give you, but would be happy to help you.

    My latest site

It's a good design, but it's really large. Large enought that it's hard to look at on a 1024 X 768 monitor. Also, what Phreadee said. Love him or hate him, the Obama '08 campaign taught us a lot about the power of the web in today's political landscape. Cover as many bases as you can: Mobile...

2 x concepts for my business's new website

Like #2 best. The color scheme is more appealing, and feels more "corporate".
