    Structure in JavaScript coding

I have the same problem. The only way I've been able to actually work with JS at the level I need to was to look at it as "find this, do that". From there, it was really just syntax.

I know what you're trying to say here, but it doesn't require you to write anything.

    Newbie question

It's pretty normal. You aren't downloading those file each time. It only downloads them once and stores them in the cache for a while. I'd worry more about the messy code Dw is generating for you when you use their design view.

    Info please

Suspecting you're a new business owner looking to open your website on a very tight budget (correct me if I'm wrong on that), I'm going to suggest the following: 1. Hire a freelance designer or a firm. It's hard to think of a website this way, but it's one of the more important tools a...

One div floating over the other. How do I make one more dominant?

Does GIMP or Paint.Net use slice tool and output css like Photoshop can?

Not really, considering you can accomplish the same thing with CSS. I was pretty irritated to find they included them in the HTML5 draft spec.

    WebDesignForum.com is falling into disrepair

I think part of the issue may be that we rarely see you guys, and we have no idea who the mods are, or if there even are any. I'm sure many if not most of the regulars around here would be happy to help you with upkeep, including me. Just my $.02 And for the record, I don't get an error either.

    Social Media?

If you're fishing for whatever you can catch, you guys are right. If you would like to fish where the right fish are, you need to get off your computer and go meet real people who own real businesses. Social media is important, but spending ridiculous amounts of time tooling around on social...

    auto margin

Wrapper div? position:dynamic? He has the first one and it isn't working, and the second doesn't exist. Get rid of #contentArea and #bannerArea. They're unnecessary, and are likely causing the issue. From there, make sure that everything you want centered has a set width, and there are no...

    Which Online Sitebuilder is Best?

WP isn't an editor. It's a content management system. Go with what Caldwell said. They're all crap.

    Aptana studio anyone?

Love Aptana. I was using it exclusively for a while, but now I pretty much use it for long coding sessions or when I'm working Rails

Does GIMP or Paint.Net use slice tool and output css like Photoshop can?

In answer to the original question, I don't think they do out of the box, but they both likely have plugins to add the functionality
