Payed Web Design - Need help setting up

Work you've done. If you have particulars about how it evolved into what the sites have become... some call them case studies... that would be good, too. If you've done work in different areas, such as site design, logos, eCommerce, and so on... it would be good to separate and categorize them.

Where is my head and body?

If you're not familiar at all with javascript it can be a little confusing. If you are using an html editor (doesn't matter which one as long as you can access the code view and you can with FrontPage) you will already have the tags in there so you would copy and paste the part of the script...

Big List of Premium Domains looking for offers

Well, i know there are reasons for that... the shorter it is the easier it is to remember...there's also the thing about spelling... and all kinds of other issues about it I just don't get, lol. I would like to understand that before I go plunk down a lot of money on something like that instead...

Big List of Premium Domains looking for offers

Thanks, ian... I keep hearing all this stuff about having good domains names and while i know it's important on some levels there are parts of the whole 'industry' that I just don't seem to grasp very well. Every where I've looked there is such conflicting information I just throw up my hands...

    Software nightmares for dummies

Well, i don't know what the difference is... i don't have the pro version, lol... but I believe you won't need both the Macromedia studio and the Adobe creative suite. You could probably get away with just Adobe photoshop. I'd get the macromedia studio over the adobe suite... they are kind of...

Big List of Premium Domains looking for offers

You could try dnforum.com but I wasn't real impressed there with any of it and I couldn't make heads or tails out of the domain name game there either. I guess I'm just doomed to waiting until an idea strikes me and hope the domain name I choose is a good one.

Big List of Premium Domains looking for offers

Nice answer... told me what I needed to know. There were a couple of them there that I actually thought about... not for building up and reselling but to actually do something with them... but I'm not going to pay a "premium" price on a claim of premium name. The thing about google, see, is...

Big List of Premium Domains looking for offers

You still haven't explained to me what makes them premium names... the one thing I do know is that premium names typically come with a premium price. I always thought that premium names had to be something useful to be considered premium. I'm not a domain name expert and I don't speculate in...

Now... if you want to see where I'm really dumb about web technology here you go.... What makes these domains premium? I don't see any useful purpose for most of them.

    Transferring Domain name

I would suggest, since you are now knowledgable about purchasing domain names, that you separate the services. Find a domain name seller whose focus is selling domain names and use it for that purpose. Then find a hosting company instead of getting both services through the same avenue. If the...

    Qwerkey! pushing the right button!

ummm.... no they aren't slow to load... they consistently don't show up... I have broadband... if that's slow to load, then you need different images anyway. trust ian to find the one page i didn't look at yesterday.

ummm... the whole point of using the spaces between is to keep the spam bots from picking up the email addy... it doesn't work if you link your email addy into it as you have done. It just takes a click and up pops a new email window with your address filled in correctly. Remove the link and it...

Payed Web Design - Need help setting up

If you are going to do web design for a living, you need to have a contract with your clients... Contracts protect both you and the client. If a client doesn't pay what is owed for work completed you will have the contract to be able to go to court and get your money. The same goes for the...
