Whats wrong with my web site resume?

The design isn't bad, though the header is a bit trippy. Kudos on steering clear of javascript for simple effects like the hovers. The biggest issue I saw was the page copy. Especially on the index page. You definitely get points for being honest, but it doesn't exactly sell you as a...

Do CSS3 Transitions Not Work With Text-Decoration?

So, I'm working on a design, and I was trying to apply a transition that would make the underline on the text links fade in and out, like I have done with a number of other properties. Here's the code I've written, maybe I just did something wrong? #nav ul li a{ color:#3d240c...

    ** changing a class, for just 1 page? **

Without getting preachy, this is why it's better to learn to hand code first, then use WYSIWYG. In Dreamweaver, click the code button at the top for the page you're trying to edit. Then, add or change the class for biobody as I described above. Then, do the same for the CSS file, and change...

    ** changing a class, for just 1 page? **

It would be easier to add a new class with your changes, and just change the class name. Alternatively, depending on the changes, you could add a new class, then reference it as well in the div. You just separate the 2 with a space. example: <div class="class1 class2"> EDIT: Post 100, btw :D

differences in colors in different search engines

What version of IE are we talking about? IE <7 doesn't support PNG alpha transparency, and it shows up with a funky grey background, which would distort your colors.

Embedding other pages to make changes easier

You probably need to go with a CMS. Check out Joomla, Drupal, or Wordpress, to name a few. A CMS will allow your content to be generated dynamically from a database, as opposed to individual pages. Also, it will make creating the individual pages much easier with backend administration...

    Artist Website - Please Rate

Thanks all for the input. The image on the front page will change as new pieces are added, so changing the layout just for this isn't practical. I will look into the centering issue.

My bad. I gave you very incomplete instructions. Remove the div the img tag is in. Ad id="4contacts" to the img tag.

How are you defining your colors? Different browsers render color names differently, where hex definitions are usually pretty close across the board.

Problem with Website Header when viewed using Google Chrome

I think I may have misunderstood you before. If there was existing CSS with the same selectors, you should overwrite the old. I figured you were adding new lines of CSS.
