    Frontpage Vs Dreamweaver

    That's the one I was talking about. It's actually a decent competitor to Aptana. Major problem I had with it was there was no option to change the color scheme. I like Aptana's dark color scheme. Other than that, it completely compares in features.

    Frontpage Vs Dreamweaver

    Aptana 3 and Notepad++ (quick edits). MS also has a new one out called WebMatrix. Been playing around with it. Almost as good as Aptana.

    Start off by not viewing it from within Dreamweaver. Live/design view sucks. Besides that, what Caldwell said.

    HTML Brick Wall

    Lay out a row of bricks using left floated divs. For every other row, set the margin to -50% for the first div in the row. Set overflow for the container to hidden.

    Where do you get your inspiration from?

    I get a lot of design inspiration from the client and their business, which is why I prefer local clients whose stores I can physically go to. However, my best design ideas come to me while on the crapper...no shittin'.:D

    Stupid simple css question

    Floats pull elements out of the normal flow of the document and literally make them float. So, the container element in some browsers will act as if they aren't there. The clear property clears the floats, which is how the clearfix works. It puts an element after the floats to clear them. Not...

    Stupid simple css question

    For the same reason the footer does. The clearfix just allows you to do it within the same container as the floated elements. Different way to do the same thing.

    Stupid simple css question

    It still may not work. You'll need to use a clearfix: HTML (place after the last floated element, but within the container): <div class="clearfix"></div> CSS: .clearfix{ clear:both; height:0px; width:100%; }
