    OH need help on website!!

Codecademy has a web fundamentals course. Run through that. The basic point is, you're going to have to learn CSS to do what you're wanting. It's that, or hire out.

    OH need help on website!!

I can't speak for how that particular template works, but for the most part, you probably will have to edit the CSS for the theme directly to change colors and what-not. As far as laying things out the way you want them, you're going to be limited unless you create your own theme.

Dreamweaver: How to take opacity out of text?

You can't. The div and everything in it will be partially transparent. Another option would be to use a partially transparent background color. You'd do this with rgba(), but that'll require you to do some actual CSS coding (though it may be entirely possible with DW, I have no idea, since I...

How does one work from home?

You have the exercise part down, and that'd be my first suggestion. Another would be to have a laptop or other portable device so you can take your code on the road. Hit up a coffee shop or Panera or something for a change of scenery. Of course, know this is largely coming completely out of...

    REM's

Used them on my last project, as well as my upcoming redesign. So much easier. Fallback is pretty easy as well. Just define in px, followed by redefine in rem. If you're using SASS, you can easily write a mixin to handle both.

You need to leave the <li> at their default display value. Then, set the width to 100/the number of menu items. In this case, 100/6=16.6 Watch out, though. any left or right padding or margins will affect the width.

If you won't be adding/removing menu items, or you're going to be personally in control of the site once it's launched, you can just set the percentage in your CSS. The jQuery approach is more for when you give up control to the client once the site launches. Take a look at @font-face.

    Douchbag of the year award.

Well I, for one, am still amazed at his XHTML2.0 skills. I mean, the spec got canned, and he uses it any way. Hardcore baller...

I know you're working the nav bar, but it's a bit hard to read. The first and last menu items need to contain the edges. I have a tutorial on my blog about automatically setting the width of menu items with jQuery. I'll let you find it (if you like) from the link in my sig so it doesn't come off...

    An Idea Regarding WebMatrix

I recently bought a tablet with a dock and Win 8 Pro (knock it all you want, but it's actually pretty nice). I was trying to get it set up for some on-the-go web coding, so I installed Sublime Text, FileZilla, Scout, Photoshop, and WAMP. After struggling, like I always do with getting WAMP to...

    hosting for beginners

Just exactly what kind of game are you running? First, you ask what kind of hosting you should use, then, you advertise your own hosting services. You're riding pretty close to getting banned.

    Browser Compatibility ??

You can use it in most browsers right now just by declaring display:block. In IE, you just add it to the DOM with JS, and set display:block. There's already an issue request on Github to add it to the HTML5Shiv, and it's already been added to Modernizr.

    lazy or what?

It seems lately that there is a separation growing between web "design" and front end development. I've started referring to myself as both to ensure it's clear that I code, and I'm serious about it. But like you said, there is a huge issue with people who don't care about any of that. They'd...

    Having rouble with responsive website

You're using absolute positioning, I assume? To fix the problem, switch to floats. Or, just set a media query at the pixel width where they run together and change the positioning to relative.

which code editor do you use?

I've been using Sublime Text 2 pretty exclusively lately. The interface is fairly minimal, but very powerful. Has some very well-implemented, intuitive features, and with Package Control, finding and installing add-ons (including WP support) is ridiculously easy.
