Where do you want to host the forum is the first question, not how. If you have a hosting service you quite likely already have the means to host a forum, so I'd start there. ibserver sounds like something you'd use on a home box or something... not that i would know since i've never heard of it...

I've never worked with Mambo but... if there are images there in the script, you can just switch out the ones you want to change with a new image file. If not, I'd have to see the script in the template to know what to have you change.

well, you don't necessarily have to try to incorporate it into the logo but sometimes it helps to know, especially if you're not in a glutted market. logos are for branding purposes and it's really hard these days to come up with something original.

I agree with [tab]. I think the colors are all too muted especially the ones with the rotating images just under the header. My personal opinion is they would look better at full color rather than the blend that's being used now.
