Replacement editor for an old FP guy.

Then don't get back into web design. In all honestly think about what you said here. Code changes all the time and if you as a person can't keep up how do you expect some WYSIWYG editor to keep up? It only gets updated once a year if that and is ALWAYS behind on standards. If you really don't...

    PSD to HTML

I'll agree that fireworks > ps when it comes to web design. That being said (and despite what I've said on this forum in the past) I don't really use either anymore. I find it easier to just go ahead and code my ideas instead of trying to get them into a ps or fw file first. If I get the idea...

    CSS3 Menu transition problem

Hmmm wonder if Benjamin uses a Mac? That would at least narrow it down a bit :P

    Uploading your website

Yeah there are a lot most steps. First you should take that html file you created in photoshop and drag it to the thing called "Trash" or "Recycling Bin" if you're on Windows. CSS3 Menu transition problem

Really? Interesting, for both of us when you click one of the links the blue background stays behind home, you have to move it around to get it to move to the correct tab. Works fine on hovers but doesn't show current tab selected.

Also, the transition works perfectly for me here. Comparing the code it looks basically the same so I don't see why it doesn't work for him.

    Table vs. Div Design Philosophy?

Tables were made to hold data. Not form layouts. It's just not the way it's supposed to happen semantically. Not much needed other than that. Use the correct tags.

    Operating system preference

Yeah I don't get why they had to screw with text edit so much. I don't really ever use it though luckily. As for the scrolling I really like the reversed scrolling. I agree with the idea of if it aint broke don't fix it but I've never had a problem adapting to the scrolling and now I find it...

    cycle slideshow inside horizontal slider

Mind showing a link to it? Hard to envision what you're trying to do with a slider inside a slider?

    Operating system preference

Anything but Windows! ;) I have a macbook that I use most of the time and an old windows desktop that got a nasty virus and I'm going to fix it and put Fedora Linux on it. If I had to stick with one OS for the rest of my life it would be Fedora Linux
