Website Content Managment Systems

What is the best free open source Content Management System on the market today? We've tried Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal, and had some problems with all of them. We ended up developing our own CMS, but most new clients are scared off by the price tag. It's looking like our investment in developing our own CMS is a lost cause. Any suggestions?

If you tried all of those and didn't like them I don't think there are many free one's left that are remotely robust. You may look into Expression Engine, I have heard good things about it.

Custom CMS is the best solution, your system will work better and faster, any other program will cause heavy core and terrible architecture.

I'm not saying that any free or paid CMS program isn't good, I'm just saying better to have it customized.

Well my favorite is Joomla, and I could solve everything with it so far.

But if you tried it and didn't like it, you might want to try a probably less known (yet :) Danish development, an opensource CMS called Umbraco. http://umbraco.org/

I think it's a nice one too. Good luck!
