Talking about article marketing, is it worth it?

I love to submit to article submission sites, but seeing that Google doesn't really give that much value to it, do you think it's still worthwhile to do article submissions?

Yes, primarily because "Content" is king in SEO. I think this adage is still true when it comes to optimization. Article submission is a good way to generate quality one-way links.

I saw this video a few days ago and decided to slow down with my article submissions. I used to spend about 30-60 minutes creating an article for a backlink and upload it to Ezine.
I've decided to still do it... But just not as often, maybe once a month or so as I think it might be worth gaining backlinks through other methods instead.

Absolutely yes. Article submission has great impact. Besides this you may also try press release submission. It is also very useful.
