Hey everyone, I’ve been wondering about how Spotify counts plays. I know a track needs to be listened to for at least 30 seconds to count as a play, but does it matter if it's part of a playlist or played on repeat? Also, do plays from offline listening get counted immediately free spotify promotion, or is there a delay? I’m an independent artist trying to understand how this affects my streaming stats and royalties. Any insights or tips from fellow musicians or Spotify experts would be greatly appreciated!
