Space between background-image on tablet?!

Hi everyone!

I really need some help with a very weird problem:
This is the design so far ( a long way from finished )

I wanted to see it on our tablet and then THIS!

(I zoomed out a bit so you can see the obvious problem)

wow... was't planning on that, but worse, I can't get it fixed...

What platform you you designing in? taking a shot in the dsark here but perhaps afluid template design will work better than a fixed one?

I don't exactly understand what you mean.. the design is fluid to 768 then applied a media query for under 480 and still have to work on the rest between but I don't think that has anything to do with the problem of the space between the repeating background image..?

I've had this happen before on mobiles. I eventually just gave up and took the background image out for mobile with a media query.

it looks good on other devices like htc, samsung and ipad so I think i'll just let it be. but it's still a weird issue...
