Shopping Carts ... for a newbie

Hello

I have been asked by a friend to design a simple website, for a small shop.

Initially, it was to be nothing more than providing contact details and a few pictures.

Easy, but after discussion I suggested maybe it would be sensible to add the ability to shop online, as it seems this is the only way to go, as far as retail is concerned.

Now here's the problem .. I have no idea how to do this.

After a quick Google search, it seems Pay Pal actually provide all the coding required, which looks pretty straightforward.

Google Checkout also have a similar product.

Fat Free are another company, providing code to copy and past as required.

It actually looks far less complicated than I first imagined .. 30 minutes ago and quite doable (if that's a proper word) I thought it would involve banks, security and all that malarkey

I am just wondering whether any reader has any ideas, on the shopping carts indivated or maybe others.

thanks in anticipation.

I personally like Paypal. Adding the cart buttons in PayPal is very easy. It's good enough to let your customers buy and pay for multiple items.
