    Hi all,

I've just completed an update to our main site (some 6 weeks work). The whole site has been completely redone. I'm interested in seeing how it loads (more about speed). We've tested it in every browser from ie6 through to Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

    Address is: Computer Disposals

Overall, looks nice & clean. Try to avoid high-brightness orange text on green background.
Page takes about 8sec to finish loading (on a 4MB down-stream internet connection)
Optimize your page img content, move your javascript tags to bottom of page, etc.

    cheers, Sin

It didn't take to long on my browser.

I run it through Woorank and it says it takes: 1.457 second(s), which is OK. However ideally under 1 second would be what I would target.

My only other criticism is that your readability is not that great. Introduce more single syllables words into your content and your rankings should improve!

Load time good on iPhone running safari

The site loaded in around a second on my iPhone using safari over a wireless connection. From a design point of view, it looks fairly clean, but maybe too much happening. That said, viewing a site on an iPhone initially gives you the overall feel and not what you'd usually experience on a desktop/laptop, where there is usually a fold.

wow, the red on the green background is almost unreadable to me. The page loads fast enough though. The graphics near the top could be larger. It is kind of hard to see what they are about.

I like the green box dividing the space though

Its loads fine. I agree with the orange font; hard to read. I like the rollover effect on the images.

Looks fine, but a couple things to address

    • Logo seems way to big
    • Need to add a margin-top above the logo, it's touching top of browser window
    • Orange font is hard to read
    • The learn more buttons are small and hard to read
    • During navigation rollover your border-right disappears
    • Half of the navigation links aren't centered properly
    • I feel the overall framework could use some work
    • Try to reduce your HTTP Request
    • Smush your images
    • Loads time are fine

    Best of luck.
