I've found Yahoo Overture to be much more cost-effective when compared to Google Adwords. So much so that I've stopped using Google (although I do use Google Adsense, which pays me a few bucks a day when visitors click the google ads I have on my site).

For Yahoo I pay about 15 cents a click, whereas Google it was up to 75 cents for the same keywords... ridiculous.

Google's setup was easier to use, but I can't afford to keep paying so much money to get my ads noticed.
