I was just wondering if anyone here know how i could create this effect with css and xhtml. perhaps using css transparency, instead of javascript or flash.

Please point me in the right direction if there is already an article on how to do this somewhere.

If javascript is the only way, i will do that.

they have used flash for their menu (the eaisest way I know to do such an effect) So I would suggest you use flash as well. I can't think of any way to do such in CSS, but I'm no expert with that, I generally just use css for for text links and such

www.dynamicdrive.com is a good help!!! what you will need to do it set it so the table has a 'on mouse cover' so that u can set it so when your curser is over the top on a <TD> box then it will highlight that Box!!
