Notepad++

Hey,
I'm new to HTML and CSS. I'm doing the 30 day trial on Dreamweaver CS6 and it is very nice but it has a lot of features that don't really give someone the ability to learn and understand the process. My question though is how are you able to see what your source code would look like? Much like you can with Dreamweaver.

Correct me if I'm wrong but notepad++ to my knowledge is just source code, there is no "design view" thank god.

Uh, switch to Code mode? Although I like WeBuilder (code editor with preview) much better than Dreamweaver. For its preview rendering, WeBuilder loads the IE en Chrome engines, which makes the preview much more reliable than the Dreamweaver preview (used to be).

Further, WeBuilder comes with a built-in PHP server.

You mean: does WeBuilder run on a Mac? I don't know, but if you ask the makers, I'm sure they will respond within a business day.
