Besides the validation issues and the black to white gradient banner at the bottom (which I imagine would be removed when the template is purchased) it's a good site with solid design.

Looks very professional but I think the article names should be turned into links.
To my opinion the basic information about the person should be shown next to the picture.

This is pretty good but there is some polish I can suggest. I would try eliminating the top and bottom "padding" where the background is visible. I would further distinguish the background from the content by adding a little shadow to the left and right edges. The top menu links could be improved with a subtle mouse-over effect like the one at http://www.simplebits.com/.

Another little fix is the "module_head3" boxes that enclose the profile names and "view profile" links. A margin or padding adjustment could vertically center that text.
