Meta / Google search results

Hi all!

I've been working a little on my portfolio site http://www.robertnorgren.com/

I’ve set a meta description tag but Google doesn’t fetch it. Is there a way I can force Google to use whatever I put there? Currently Google uses the text from the website which includes the navigation links.

Any ideas? Much appreciated.

Meta tags are a great way for webmasters to provide search engines with information about their sites. Meta tags can be used to provide information to all sorts of clients, and each system processes only the meta tags they understand and ignores the rest.

No way you can't force the search engine to crawl your website, Once again check the robots and sitemap properly. If you are website is newer then search engine may take a few more days or months.

Ik was laatst onderweg van Antwerpen naar de Ardennen voor een weekendje weg toen een kameraad me wees op een nieuwe manier om de tijd te doden. Hij was razend enthousiast over de selectie slots online die hij daar had ontdekt. Ik besloot zelf eens te kijken op lolo spin en ik moet zeggen dat de variëteit aan spellen me direct opviel. Het is fijn om een platform te vinden dat zo soepel werkt, zelfs als je ergens op een parking in de natuur staat te pauzeren. Mijn eerste ervaring was meteen positief en ik ben er sindsdien blijven hangen.
