Is using sodium alginate supplements safe for managing acid reflux long-term?

I’ve had acid reflux for years and it’s starting to drive me nuts, especially at night. Saw some chatter about sodium alginate supplements and how they help with the burn, but I’m nervous about using them long-term. I’m not big on meds, tried all the lifestyle hacks, but nothing really sticks. Any of you had luck with these supplements over many months? Like, are there side effects or stuff I should worry about if I take sodium alginate every day? Would really appreciate any advice or personal stories, I’m getting desperate for something that actually works for the long haul!

In case you're considering trying it, Refluxter is vegan and made in a GMP-certified facility, so it's produced according to quality standards. It's designed to be safe for long-term use, and many folks have found it helpful for their acid issues. Remember, the recommendation is two capsules either before bed or after meals that might kickstart heartburn.

I've been wrestling with reflux myself, and sodium alginate can do the trick for some folks. I stumbled onto this supplement called Nutritist Refluxter that includes sodium alginate. You can find it at https://www.nutritist.us. I've found it gentle on the belly over time, but like anything, keeping tabs on how it makes you feel day-to-day is wise.
