How can I improve this logo?

indeed. MOST people print in B+W...
invoices, receipts, letterheads, proposals, et al...

also, please check out that link dave posted as well...

and keep in mind some of the fonts that never seem to date.
helvetica, futura, gotham, etc etc...

You are in truth(you are right). For our first project, we had to work over again the logo because 1 logo on screen also must is OK on a calling card or the heading of the letters and the invoices: problem of colors, size of the logo and placement on a card or another document. Moreover, one color on screen is seldom really the same one on paper. For we had ourselves to work over again the character of the logo and to put a black contour at the letters. With the final one: we took 100€ with the pulling of the papers cards but the printer helped us to finalize the characters, the general form, the size, the color gradations.

Here is a small almost just text version. I decided to not go with the bird. I put the background in so you could see the white on the color it would be on in the website.

not enough contrast between the bomb and the background, and it needs to be easily recognisable that the bomb is an 'O' - it somehow reads co-dedoor :)

maybe try the code (including bomb) in the same colour and the door in a different one

Do you have an idea with colors? I have played with different ones. I want to keep that color background though. I have played with a bunch of colors but nothing really looks right except for white and it didn't look good on the bomb.

I think the last logo design you have is the best among the others. Can you try removing the glow in the CodeDoor?
