I kind of lost where the original post was, but advised yesterday what the situation is.
The problem was ..
ME (which comes as no real surprise)! After my ISP advised with
absolute certainty, and did so rather convincingly, that hotmail had a filter that caught a key word it considered offensive in the Subject bar, I spent time changing it - and it still didn't work. Something, however, about the advice my ISP gave didn't seem logical.
Then I called in my chief advisor, Jack Daniels
, and we found it; I get dozens, sometimes hundreds, of e-mails a day on that hotmail address, 99.999999% of which get deleted and of those, 80% are tossed as junk mail. Well, I somehow tossed as junk my
own address, which was why I wasn't getting them through!
I am embarrassed and do apologize.
Oh, the secret word they claimed hotmail looks for? "Scripts."
