Hello, thanks to everyone and i say thanks in advance to anyone that can help. I am a completly 'green' web deveolper. I have pretty much taught myself how to use photoshop dreamweaver and everything else i use on my owe. No schooling no classes just trial and error and reading some book here and there. I have done a couple of web sites for fun and just to see what i could do and my question is, when i load the two sites i have done..especially www.tristatesurvey.com the page loads extremly slow. it loads in what seems like 'sections' or something. can anyone tell me why this is? and even more how to fix it? Thanks to everyone again

You can slice it using ImageReady.
Your page looks really nice, but the size of your page is rather large (around 368 kb), and as tanjh said the whole thing is an image, and a rather large on at that, clocking in at 358 kb. I would suggest compressing your images and maybe slicing your image into smaller images and load them into a CSS file.
