Growing Image Portfolio

Hey, I am working on a website for my buddy. He is an artist and musician and wants to put his artwork online to get feedback from people that don't know him. He said friends will just tell him what he wants to hear.

Well, right now he has about 50 paintings, drawings, pictures, etc. What would be the best or easiest way to go about making a website for him? He wants people to be able to comment on the pictures, I think he even wants to sell them.

Right now, I have him a website, but it will be hell to update and manage. His category is one page. Then each image has its own page. But I haven't gone in and added the commerce part of it. I want to find a more sensible way to go about doing this.

The website is http://www.planetcalleddillonartzandmusic.com.

Any help or suggestions are wanted and needed. Thanks

Josh

try nopcommerce, it is an ecommerce open source application.
but can be used for painting and reviews too...

and inside it you can add couple seperate pages for you

How about just using a blog like wordpress? If you need a photo gallery as well, there are plugins for it.
