Free web host that allows file hosting?

My question is, is there a free web host that will allow me to basically hotlink to files outside my website, and if so, what is it/are they?

Do you need host for your images or for website with external links to images? If second, any host will allow that.

I am not sure about free, but most companies are relatively cheap. We use dreamhost and they do a great job. They do offer free hosting for non-profits. This may be worth checking into.
