Design suggestions

Hey people

I'm making a holiday booking system for university in Flash and I need some ideas for making the design look better (It's not a design course so I'm not overly good yet).

Could some of you guys give me some suggestions?

You could add some nice photographs of various resorts and lodges that are in your database. If you had some running down the right hand side of the page that would be much more interesting to look at than all that white space.

I tried to find a nice example for you but I didn't really see anything. Images help though. This one is right side formatted:
