Cache Clearing

Other then swearing loudly at my browser, is there a better way to get it to clear the cache so it will re-load my site properly while I work on it?

I've got a cache clearing add on for firefox but it doesn't seem to work properly.

ETA: I had to clear the idiot out of my brain & found another app that works better anyway :)

You can set the Firefox browser not to use cache at all.

1. Type in your address bar "about:config" (w/o the quotes).
2. Click on "I'll be careful, I promise".
3. In the filter bar type "network.http.use-cache" (w/o the quotes).
4. If its value "true", double click on it to make it "false".

That's it, Enjoy.

Ahh! Thanks a ton :) I just want to be able to turn it off when I'm doing updates to the site.

That's going to save me a LOT of aggravation! :D

I prefer Safari, there you have ALT+CMD+E to clear everything. Goes very fast and simple

many greetings
