    Hey guys,

so I'm relatively new to web design with pretty good knowledge of html and java. Currently, I'm working on a website for the art collective I'm part of, and I'm just about finished. What I'm trying to figure out seems like it should be simple. I'm trying to figure out a way to build a template so that anyone in the collective can sign on and update their pages with news. I doesn't need to be anything fancy, just something that can write text, post pictures, and add links and something that is simple for those of us who are even less internet savvy. Is there any piece of code or a template I can add that will allow me to easily add that feature on? Something that would let them go to their page, and maybe by adding /update to the url they could sign in and update that page?

Thanks for the help in advance!

please give me your exact project requirement, then i could suggest you CMS or website.
If you want to simply add image, description and links and manage it from back end, there is nothing more simple than Wordpress .

Still let me know on your requirement, its easy to set up what ever you have described in your post above.

I agree with orangecopper, Wordpress should do everything you are asking for. In addition to that, it is easy to customize and use.

Joomla, Drupal and DotNuke may be too heavy for your requirements. I used to use Joomla for everything and have now switched to Wordpress. Wordpress is comparitively light, very easy to set up and use and has a vast module selection...Wordpress all the way!
