i used postnuke on writingwise.com which contains articles but there might be something more suited to your needs out there... go articles is just an article bank and I think there might be some specific applications just for those somewhere.

It depends on how you look at it but I'd say no, too. When they have the Christmas stuff out the day after Halloween (some before) it pretty much overshadows Thanksgiving altogether. We're not big on Christmas in this household... oh, we celebrate it and all that but the commercialism part of it...

It would probably be wise to design to 1024 x 768. I think it's the most used resolution now. Using that size would not make it so small at higher resolutions nor would it look too large at the lower resolution... you can size it to fit the pages within 800 x 600 with tables or .css but use a...

I don't know. I have one called writingwise.com that I think is good because it makes perfect sense to me but for all I know it might be worthless, lol. Yours is kind of long but heck getting short ones that are good these days is next to impossible.

you put it where you define the table percentages.... blocks are tables within a table

you have to set them to percentages before they can stretch. if you have cell spacing and padding on as well, there might not be enough room for them stretch.

What doesn't keep the right format when you save it as an .rtf? Can you export it as a pdf and keep the formatting right?
