asp code... can anybody help me?

Two things to say really: First of all, although asp will no doubt continue to be supported for a very long time to come, if you're just starting to learn this language, then I would seriously suggest that you switch immediately to asp.net. ASP.net is the latest version of ASP and a very much...

    Copyright

Generaly speaking if your contracting for a company in this way, then you would assign the copyright in toto to the that company, so it would be their name at the bottom of the page. The only time this may differ is if some of the photographic or graphic material is produced by someone who only...

    Layer Scrolling

css styling can be incorporated within the page between <style> tags but IMO this is not best practice. I believe in keeping everthing separated - HTMl in one doc css in another script in another etc. In complex page designs it makes the whole thing much more readable and easier to find any...

    Saving in Photoshop-Need Help Pls...

Reduce the resolution of your image. A printed wall poster only needs a resolution of 30dpi (max) as it will be viewed from several feet/meters away. Incidently you would be better off posting these types of queries to a dedicated GD forum such as http://www.designtalkboard.com/ where the people...

    Learning web design

Ok I can relate to that, but why the need for speed. To learn the principles of design and layout can take a very long time, add to that the time needed to learn html coding, css, xhtml standards, image editing and optimisation and you can be talking months and months even on an intensive course...

    ifram bottom scroll bar again

In order to limit the width of the content loading into the iframe it should be contained within a <div> within the source page with the <div> width set to a little less than the width of the iframe this is how the effect is achieved in the example you specified. Right click the content of the...

New site redesign - please review - good and bad

I have to agree with Ian, there is a serious deja vue factor whenever you follow a link. I also find it a little frustrating that all the real content is squeezed into less than half the page width making the scroll even more long winded than it needs to be. Having said all that, the load up...

    Image display in different browsers

just for future reference (Iknow you've solved your problem,) some browsers only refresh images on a page when the page itself needs to be refreshed. So if you encounter this problem again then try resaving the page that the image is on to force the browser to reload it from your server.

    Copyright

First of all there is no internationaly identifiable law or convention on copyright. there is the Berne convention on copyright 1886 but the only participants were the UK and the US. Other countries have since incorporated the maxims of the Berne convention into there own law, but it should not...
