    Web Design/Development Degree

Oh yeah... Daz bought Bryce from Corel and have developing it. There is now a Bryce 6 and lots of addons... relatively inexpensive, too... so I'm going to work on getting a new version of that... I know they used it in the movie "Battlefield Earth" several years ago.

    Web Design/Development Degree

I get a magazine every month called Game Development. Have been looking at the various fields in that and the schools that offer degrees in it. There's also 3d computer animation... such as they use to make a lot of those fabulous movies our kids love, :-). Problem is, I don't have any good 3d...

    need domain and web space

You're better off buying the domain and hosting separately when you want/need extensions that aren't as widely available as the standard ones are. Directnic should have .co.uk as well as goDaddy but I wouldn't buy hosting from GoDaddy... they are great for domain name purchase but suck at...

    CSS Help

Well, you really can't have it both ways because people have so many varied browser sizes but if it's a problem with the overall look of things on the website I'd suggest: Nested tables with the content cells having absolute widths and heights. eg. name the outer table class layout and each...

    Furniture Distributor site for review

I agree with ian but there's one thing I don't understand... why did you use such plain furniture in it when they have other pieces that would showcase better in the animation?

    Rollovers

you have to do it with javascript or css. you can't have it just plain html and have a rollover... however you can have it set with just a background or an image that is the same color as the background for the inactive state and an image for the mouseover. unless you're using css for the layout...

    Rollovers

NOt exactly sure what you mean by a squiggle line... you mean where there should be an image? if so, it could be the path to your image isn't correct.

    Review My Clients Site

The sound on/off is backwards.. if you turn it on it's actually off... it's also too loud... it should be a backdrop or none at all. I don't like having to press a back button each time I want to change pages. Also the text is not consistent throughout. On the about us page, the scrollbar...

    Complicated website questions

In that case, take a look at Coppermine or Gallery4. Both are php based and decent. Not difficult to set up, either.

    Complicated website questions

Well... that's just it... you could use php, but you might also want to look at javascript and cgi. I can't think of any ready made script off the top of my head that will do all of that without going into an intensive search. At first I thought maybe a php image gallery script but i'm not sure...
