    Simple storage website

Then it's not so bad. I'm assuming he just wants it for simplicity of locating them, so the phone number is pretty obvious, and the directions are right there. His two main priorities do stand out. I'd suggest making the gallery open in the same window though.

Need your guy's help CSS work

it's the best way to maintain all styles. for example, on firefox, you can have a dashed border, but on IE, you may can't. to make it work on all browsers, you can tone it down or make different stylesheets.

gif images & logo header software

are jpgs smaller than gifs? i always though gifs had a smaller file size, but less quality? and is it acceptable to use pngs on websites? from what i've learned, pngs are too large and you should try using gifs for transparency as much as possible If you cannot afford photoshop, the gimp...

Please critique my Media freelancer's website!

it looks pretty nice! I'm not a big fan of the alternating positions of categories on the Browse Jobs page. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but it looks a bit sloppy. Also on that page, the text ("Freelancer Wanted") and navigation ("Write ad"..."rules") seem to be centered...

    ASP and PHP Help Needed

http://www.php.net/tut.php is a nice, easy to follow php tutorial, but it takes a lot of patience and practice.

    New kid on the block.

I'd use it as motivation to rub it in their faces and create a killer website. Which reminds me of another book... http://www.amazon.com/Creating-Killer-Web-Sites-2nd/dp/1568304331 Also really helpful, starting at $0.29 used

    Freelancer site help

I personally like getafreelancer.com Quotes may or may not include domain and hosting. If you're offering, I say you should not include domain and hosting, because they may have a host preference that costs more or less than the one you were planning to go with. You could say +cost of domain...

    New kid on the block.

The first step to building a website is design, so I recommend Web Pages that Suck, it helped me a lot, and it's quite funny seeing these two guys bashing web pages. andd...it's only $0.39 used :D

    My photo website

It works fine for me in firefox. On the html site, the background of the navigation area seems a little plain, there's a big block of pink, so perhaps a very slight gradient? nice work :)

    Anybody with experience with Registerfly

will registerfly keep the domain after it is expired? if not, couldn't you just wait til it expires and buy it immediately after from somewhere else? I'm sure you know much more about this than i, so sorry if this is completely unhelpful.

    CluelessBot.com

i like the idea of fading out the page border thing, but it kind of bothers me that it doesn't fade out at the bottom. perhaps fading it on the last color (50px down)? It might be just me, but i find that a bit weird. also, since the header and footer font for "clueless bot" are the same, it...

    Three template ideas

I am trying to create a template for my site, but I cannot seem to make a good one. Which of these three would you prefer (if any)? http://www.creamedice.com/forum <--Just a general idea of page inside monitor, will change color scheme and the actual pic of monitor http://www.priceypixel.com...

    Please review my site :)

The scrolling marquee's are a bit annoying to me. There are two empty boxes in the navigation table. The two images on either side of the marquee's are redundant, and should probably have a transparent background to help blend in with the page background. The banner at the top seems out of...

    Bobble Design 2.0

I had the same problem with firefox. I really like the look in IE though. It's really fun, yet at the same time, professional. Just a small suggestion, cause the little things bug me, I think there's one too many m's in mmmm, "mmm" looks better in my opinion. Other than that, great job!

    mock-ups

Some sort of banner image would be nice, or at least a page title at the top. it's pretty basic, but nice for a blog.

Coppermine Photo Gallery? What shall i do?

coppermine is great for this. i use it and it does that and more. you can create albums and make teachers "moderators" to ensure students do not post inappropriate content. the site you showed is just a theme of coppermine, many of which you can find here...

    Please review my site

it still looks pretty basic. I'd suggest getting a more professional banner. also, the bottom copyright bar is static on the page and blocks some content. perhaps making it a regular table instead of the div float or whatever you're using? (firefox, 1400x900)

    CluelessBot.com

it's really nifty! i love all the bevel/embossing. can't review much without content, but so far, nice job :)
