Overall it looks pretty good, but I would give the header a bit more attention. Seems kind of bland to me at the moment. I am also not really feeling the way you have the category links at the top right now. Just seems like a bit much having two rows of links like that. Other than that, I like it.

yes regarding the header, your suggestion is good, i would seriously look to redesigning or filling it, and the category links are a bit crowded but, basically i wanted the topics we cover to be highlighted.

Maybe breaking the categories down into categories and sub-categories would help keep things a bit more organized. I am attaching a screen shot of my template as an example. Granted my template isn't done yet, but it should give you a general idea of what I mean.

Agreed, to much going on with the two rows of links.
  • Search bar is not lined up with button.
  • Header is boring, not a good use of space.
  • No reason to show categories twice on the site.
  • Don't really care for how the sidebar is organized.

Nice design. Header needs treatment - search box alignment for IE, overlapping blog nav. You might want to break up the content in the blog nav column, maybe use a <hr> or something to seperate the ads, categories etc. Other than that the content's interesting, everything else is peaches and cream - nice one!

Thankyou all for your great suggestions... Exactly what i have been working on is building quality content in my niche.

Zkiller, thankyou for your suggestions, i have modified the top category menu and made it drop down as you all suggested, let me know if it looks good now, further, working on the header piece.
