Smaller town Area business would like new site built using pre designed template.
The business does not have time or knowledge of how to create the site and or maintain it therefore I have been asked to do both with the possibility of training

Basically I will take the content of site now, text, videos, photo's and place them on the new site. As well as watermark the images

The Site currently has 30 Pages with 33 Subfolders

Videos, Audio, forms etc.

I can cut the site down to have 7 pages with say 25 subfolders.

 How much should I charge this business to create the site?
Do I charge per page, per hour? If so how much?

 What about to maintain the site?

How much to watermark images?

 And if the business people need training on how to maintain site how much should I charge there?

ALL COMMENTS, SUGGESTIONS, QUOTES ETC ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Thank you:)

Have you done freelance work in the past? If so, what have you previously charged? Does the client seem to be on a tight budget for this project or do they want it done right no matter the cost?

I have done websites before but each package has been different I did a 21 page business site for less than $2000 but felt I under charged. Living in a small town I have only charge $35 per hour. Is that too cheap?

The budget is open.

any thoughts, fee suggestions etc are appreciated.

thanks

I would first of all make sure that the project is worth your time. You'll find motivation each day you work on the client's project if they are paying you well. I personally feel that $35/hour is very inexpensive.

I don't feel comfortable giving you a fee suggestion, but make sure that the project is worth the money. That's really the best advice I can give.
