what does anyone no about CIW coures

I am thinking of taking a CIW professional web master course for £1470. They say CIW is known in the web design world and if i ever wanted to go for employment in this field future employes would look out for this certification. Ive done some research on it and its kinda 50-50.Any help on this apreciated thanks

A CIW qualification could probably help, it certainly wouldnt hurt, but the best way to secure employment in the highly competitive field of web design would be to have a very good portfolio of work that you have done.
