Website Resolution

Hello Friends,

I am in the process of redesigning a web site and have the following question/doubts.:

I just tried to increase the font size and the line-height for the contents and it looks good but there are chances that a visitor will see just the little content(as text size is big) and will not scroll down to read more..so I would like to know how to change the resolution so that the contents are shown as before so that I can achieve the font change still.

I checked the current resolution using "Web Developer" tool and the values are 1024*566. I am not sure how to increase and how much to increase so that contents are still presented as before even after changing font size.

Please help me out.

Thanks and Regards

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not 100% clear on what you are asking. When you say resolution is this the page width and height ?

Are you looking to fix your page to a certain width ?

Can you post a link to an example and it might clear things up a bit.

Resolution 72, Size 720 by 540

resolution is usually used for printing

size is that small because some people's computers aren't that big. You'll be able to fit without side-scrolling on any computer
