Hi! I want to design a website for my own. I have learn some web designing softwares such as Dreamweaver, Cold Fusion,Adbobe Photoshop and a little bit of flash. Can someone advice me on what is the best way to create a webiste? I would like to create a very good website but do I need javascript, flash actionscript or other more powerful programming?
And can my website link to any database if I do not have a database.
Can I create my own database without spending any money.

In my opinion, Dreamweaver is the absolute best software.

Don't worry about javascript and flash unless you absolutely need it for your site. Html and Css should suffice.

Some webhosts offer databasing with their packages. To use a database you will aslo need to learn a server side language like Php.

I want to learn how to link my web pages to the database . Can Dreamweaver link to database? How can I learn how to link my web pages to database? What are the database software used for server?
Is ASP the programming language to link to the database?
And what is Php and ASP?
