Too many spammers maybe? Now and then it seems to get flooded... puts me off for a week or two before I come back!

I think the multitude of link spam posts like this don't help. The funny thing is, the thread is then spammed by more link spammers saying "great post, thankyou".

This is becoming a major threat to forums (not just this one), and I think the only defense is really tough moderation and restrictions on link posting.
