I'm really even not sure what this is called, so I'm not sure what to search for. I apologize if this has already been discussed elsewhere. I'm familiar with basic HTML, but I'm definitely not an expert. I'm currently building a Web site for a fundraiser that I'm planning, and I'm using a free template. The page I'm having an issue with is this one. What I'm trying to do is add more events without having to make the page any longer. I want the text and images to scroll up, with the background staying put. I guess the text and images would be called "floating", but that seems to mean something else in HTML terms based on my failed research. Haha. I don't want to just add a text box, because I think that would add a white background behind the text, when I just want the page's background to appear. Also, I tried putting the events in a text box, and the formatting was completely lost. I think that messed with the CSS? I really have no idea how to use CSS, so I'm not sure. Would this be a text box with a transparent background, or what? The scroll bar for the kind of text box I'm talking about is usually invisible, with the little bar being a thin line that fits with the Web site's colour scheme. I've seen this done before, but I'm not sure how it's done to be able to replicate it. I'm not even sure if it's HTML, CSS, Flash, or something else...? Does anybody know how to do this? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
