Could anyone please review the forum along with things what would attract you more, looking at the site as if you were a teen.

Go with the blue theme as the default instead of the black. The black and white is a little too gloomy! Looks a lot better in blue.

I would look at the forum categories and make sure they are appropriate to what the site is about.
