I recently transfered my domain name to another host. I uploaded my new website to the new host; but when i type the web address into my browser im still seeing my old website. I have had other people try it and some people are seeing the new one and some are seeing the old one. Customer service suggested that i clear my cache. I did that and I am still seeing the website from the old host 3 days after uploading a new site to my new host.
Any ideas?

Clear your browser cache AND press Ctrl+F5 when you view the site URIs.

Now that Apple is the third largest vendor of personal computers in the US it might be worth pointing out that Control+F5 on a Mac will highlight the browser back button - if you have Universal Access enabled.

Command+R gives you a refresh and Shift+Command+R gives a forced refresh.

You just gotta think like a left handed person. When the world gives you right handed instructions, you have to flip it around. Same with being a Mac user... gotta flip it to what you know.

That maybe so but:

A: I'm not in the US and have no idea where the TS is from.

B: I'm not a Mac user and have no idea what the TS uses.

So taking "the line of least resistance" seemed appropriate, and should the TS have requested clarification and for the equivalent keypress, mouse "gesture", tablet "flick" etc. for whatever device (s)he happened to be using that information could then be offered.
