Size issue.. IE vs Firefox

I designed the site with firefox in mind and forgot about IE. I have this size issue now in IE. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this.

size issue

when I view the site with Firefox the page sizes properly 1000px x 138px. I am viewing 1024 x 768 the site looks greatin firefox but in IE the page appears stretched with a horozontal scroll bar?

any suggestions would be appreciated

They look identical in Firefox and IE. What version of IE are you using?

Hmm, I can't think what the problem could be. Perhaps you could take a screenshot of the two browsers?

Hey friend..

i guess the size issue you are saying is side scroll?? is it ..

if yes, its simple , make a habit of developing websites using a parent table.
Give the table width as 100% rather than pixels...so that the website adjusts as per its size and width and browser
