Um.... No offense but wow... Here's a list that you should do.

  1. Find a good color scheme, because what you have is hard on the eyes.
  2. Learn about margins and padding, text to the edge of a div is no good and looks tacky.
  3. Learn about images because yours is stretched and looks distorted, im glad to see you're using some javascript instead of an animated gif.
You just need to learn basic layout and design i mean from what i can see, your just at the very start of learning web design. Keep learning what you can keep building on to the site because honestly i would be typing all night and what you would need to do so continue with your schooling and just do your best man.

I suggest you get a content management system, like wordpress, and get a template. Most of the work will be done for you, and it will look professional. The site looks like form the beginning of the internet
