RmBase Web radio first Design

[RmBase]

Please review my design.

Greetings,

I'm Robert and have been working on a website for my radio for a long time now.
Ive been working with PS for a long time to figure out everything and now i got finaly a result.
This is my first design work ever so please be critic so i can learn.
Now i was wondering if people could give a try to watch the site and comment about it.
I'm open for anything since its my first design aslong its stays nice.

Things what may be a problem on this forum about my site:
The website has been filled with dutch text, So im sorry about this.

To do so far:
Slice and script login menu (If anyone got tutorials or tips its all welcome.)
Slice and script Search menu (If anyone got tutorials or tips its all welcome.)

To make everything short:
I'm looking for comments on my first design/slice web work.

Hi there,

Had a look at the site. My first impression is that it's quite slow to load.

Other than that I'm not sure I like having such a mix of different colours on the site. The twitter widget looks quite out of place in it's current location, or at least, I think the colour of it could be changed. Too many different fonts and colours for my liking as well. The spacing in the navigation bar looks kind of funky too. I guess you are trying to keep it consistent, but it just looks kind of weird to me.

Anyway, for your first effort, it's not too bad. Good luck with the future designs.

First of all, for a first design it looks pretty good.
I realy like the menu, but the font of the content is very basic. I would use some dark gray collors for your content text.

And is the Part for your content not a bit small?

And thank you for your kindness if i try something news i always tries to overdo myself.

About the content box yea im afraid it's a little bit to small but if i made it bigger i just didn't like the look off it.
And basicly its big enough to put in what i need to put in.

Also the 2 points i told before i didnt finished yet, If anyone got a good tutorial about it i'm never to lazy to learn.

All comments are welcome, And all advices we will think about it to edit it.
