Brrr... There is any idea about how YOU should redesign your site. Everything depends on your imagination and goals you want to achieve. You can create text-based design, and it will be popular and attractive, you can create da best design ever but it won't be popular.

But site has very poor design. One of the first rule (imnho) - never youse default photoshop-styles (i mean only "Drop Shagow" style or only "Gaussian Blur" filter). Good mix of filters and styles is what you need :)

Well, flash is not required on your site. Remember - flash must be used only to emphasise beauty. Good use of flash: http://www.bonga.net/

Then, focus people's attention. You want to show your portfolio? Just show some of your logos on the main page. And read some articles about typography, design etc...

Well, you should look at a few design studio websites. Look close up at how they create the shading and effects with simple gradients and color patterns. I would redesign this site with a tableless css and html layout, add some good web design related content to your site so you start getting some search engine traffic. This is just a direction to start.
