Repeat Region Problem

Currently making a website, when I tell the site to repeat region it repeats and tiles it horizontally instead of vertically. How can I fix this so the regions repeated are aligned vertically?
Currently a beginner trying to create a site using Dreamweaver.

Which part is supposed to be repeating? It looks like it's repeated vertically to me? Can you include the code so we can see what you're talking about?

The top half of the attached image shows the repeat tag of the area that should be repeated and the bottom half shows how its actually repeating.
I want the columns to be aligned vertically and repeat downwards. Looking similar to this.

Well is that done with tables or divs or what? It's hard to give you an answer with images. I'm sorry but seeing the code would help alot.
