Question on legal use of logos

Hi all,

I'm in the process of completing a site for a client that has a lot of high-profile clients (Fortune 500, Government, etc.)

One of the pages being included showcases some of these clients, and includes their company logos.

After much toil, my client told me that he now has doubts about the legality of including his client's logos.

The page only shows a bulleted list next to a number of logos. Nothing else. Of course, I told him that he should ask some of his clients about copyright infringement. But I also assured him that in reality he had NOTHING to worry about.

Does anyone here have any experience/insights on similar matters?

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

You need to get written consent from each company in order to legally display their corporate identities. Some companies may not care at all, but it is much better to cover your @ss, then to be sorry about it later.
